The United States Patent and Trademark Office recently granted the University of Miami School of Law’s Startup Practicum formal certification so that its students can appear directly before the USPTO on behalf of their clients in trademark and patent applications. Jaime is honored to serve as a co-supervisor of Miami Law students appearing before the USPTO. Miami Law is one of only twenty-six law schools in the nation, and the only one in the state of Florida, to receive this certification for both trademarks and patents from the USPTO
